Whilst you will meet lots of different people in your life, the most important thing to remember is why you are aiming to develop and maintain a strong personal brand. There’s a very clear answer – the main reason is to enhance your job prospects. In the context of your personal brand the people who will matter most are employers and potential employers, work colleagues and any other people you mix with in the course of your work such as customers, suppliers and so on. Your friends are your friends and will not be judging you in the same way.
Defining your personal brand simply means taking a thoughtful approach to your future – it’s got to be worthwhile!
