Capturing ‘you’ in just a few words…

Once you have completed your Vision, Values, Personality and the Supporting Factors that underpin these statements, think about how you might capture it all in a few words or a single sentence.

Product or service brands tend to have what is called a proposition – a succinct expression of their overarching benefit, which often forms the basis for their strapline. As an individual you won’t need a strapline per se, but it is a good idea to think about how you would sum up your ‘offer’: it will enable you to describe yourself effectively, with clarity and purpose, capturing what makes you special and will help guide your social media posts etc.

Imagine if someone asked you at the beginning of an interview and you had 30 seconds to say what you are all about and what you have to offer – what would you say?
