All strong brands have a clear definition at their core – it is the outline of what makes them special or unique. A personal brand is no different: in order to create a strong personal brand, you must first define what that brand is ie. what makes you unique.
We will shortly introduce you to our exclusive programme, WhyMe?, through which you will create your own personal brand definition in the right way. It is centred around the WhyMe? model which captures what makes you unique – it is a strategic articulation of what you want to achieve and how you can get there. It works by identifying your unique bundle of characteristics which will set you apart from your competition and help you achieve your goals.
The truth is that in today’s world you are a brand, whether you like it or not. So, take control of it yourself and communicate what you want or need to, rather than let others take control as they won’t necessarily attribute you with the positive qualities you want them to. They have no reason to be kind or positive!
Everything you do – what you say and how you say it, and how you appear – all shape the perception you create in somebody else’s mind.
